Illinois Tool Works Inc. announced that it has acquired Teknek, world leaders in manufacturing solutions for the contact sheet cleaning and web cleaning sector on July 8, 2011.
Teknek will be a wholly-owned subsidiary of ITW and will become a part of the company's existing ionization and static electricity control business. ITW will continue to operate Teknek, as part of the Simco-Ion Electrostatic Processes platform. Teknek designs and manufactures a number of innovative contact cleaning solutions to help reduce contaminants in the manufacturing process.
