Static Control Solutions For Plastic Applications

In the plastics industry static charge can cause machines to jam, parts to stick to each other, and contamination which can increase product defects that waste time and money. Materials are becoming increasingly thin and sensitive, while processes are becoming faster and more lean. Ensuring your process runs smoothly is becoming critical to guarantee your customers get a quality product. Simco-Ion solves problems for a variety of plastics applications by offering custom static control, contamination control, and web cleaning solutions. Our products are ideal for many plastic applications including:

  • Laminating
  • Blow molding
  • Film extrusion
  • Thermoforming
  • In-mold labeling
  • Injection molding
  • Chill roller pinning
  • Trim collection coating

IQ Power HL & HLC

There are two Power Supply choices for the IQ Power HL System. Both IQ Power HL Power supply options provide the high voltage output power producing ionization and are compatible with the IQ Power Control Station offering system intelligence to maintain and communicate complete static control. Features include auto-calibration and dual-axis feedback control with an optional HL sensor system. Indicators on the HL power supply display system status, power, service status, and fault conditions.

The HL Power Supply is approved for mounting outside the hazardous area, while the HLC Power Supply is approved for mounting inside classified hazardous locations. Combining the HLC with the IQ Power Control station allows you to calibrate with the touch of a button and monitor neutralizing  critical indicators such as service status and fault conditions.
