The modular designed PerforMAX® static control system can measure downstream static charges to automatically adjust ionizing output and neutralize fluctuating charges.
(Hatfield, PA) PerforMAX® IQ is a modular, plug-n-play static control system designed to optimize static neutralization on all converting and web handling lines. Three different IQ bars are available to optimize static neutralization at distances up to 30 inches and web speeds to 3,000 fpm. The IQ’s high voltage power supply processes all system data to maintain constant static control while displaying system status at a glance. A remote web monitor can connect to up to four sensors, typically used downstream from neutralizing bars, to create a closed-loop system that can automatically respond to fluctuating levels of static charges. An optional PerforMAX IQ communication module creates a plug-n-play interface with the operator’s PLC or PC for remote monitoring and integrated system control. Operators can also carry a portable IQ monitor that displays real-time key operating conditions.
