October 2010 – Simco’s NEW Chargemaster VCM Electrostatic Charging System is designed specifically for the demands of bindery operations, including card insertion, ribbon tacking, catalog stacking and also to eliminate condensation build up on a chill roll system. The Chargemaster supplies the high voltage for charging bars and various applicators to electrostatically bond materials. Fully programmable for either voltage or current control mode, the Chargemaster VCM provides a simple and economical solution for a wide range of production processes to maximize efficiency.
The Chargemaster VCM provides both positive and negative polarities and features scroll-through menu programming control. Each unit’s output current is electronically restricted and protected against arcing. With remote ON/OFF capability and output voltage control, the Chargemaster VCM incorporates high frequency switching technology within a compact package.
The Chargemaster’s state-of-the-art technology provides these features:
- Voltage or current control mode operation capability
- Unique scroll-through menu programming control
- Output up to 30 kilovolt, 10 milliampere for BiPolar version
- Available in bench mount or wall mount configuration
